They are used as a continuous and smooth DC power supply. Especially, they are used with the purpose of feeding of auxiliary DC systems of substations, transformer kiosks and MV switch equipment. At the BAR-24 constant voltage is used as method of switch and the beginning current of the switch is 1,5 A. With this way, performance and battery life of the equipment in it is let down. With the help of a 230 VAC transformer input voltage is reduced to 30 VAC value. After that, this value is converted a DC value to prevent with a filter and rectifier the heating of regulator circuit, magnetic reactance and other losses. Obtained from the DC energy value of 2,30 V at 20 C per eye and a total of 27,6 V output current limiting regulator is to be achieved. BAR-24 sets have maintenance-free battery with the capacity of 12 VDC 7 Ah. Connecting these two batteries as serial, 24 VDC energy is obtained.
