General Features

Redundant PLC system for control never make the mistake
CS1D provides to continue uninterrupted work adding various redundancy options to the CS1 architecture which has proven itself. Duplex CPUs is continuously checked for errors whether or not the function of the control loop, user does not need to write special program for it. An easy way to increase even further the continuity of the system is to use a dual power supply unit. Transition of CPUs, power supplies and I / O units during the operation allows that maintenance can be made to work with no stopping or minimum interruption.

CS Series CPU Units

Fast and powerful CPUs for all processes

Omron's CS1-series CPUs have been offered with two processor speeds and each of them have various memory capacities. Besides the basic CPU models, versions are available for dual-redundant study with support of change of I / O (hot-swap) in operation. All CPUs has a dedicated card slot which you can connect serial communication card or loop control card for directly CPU data-line connection.


CPU units support IEC61131-3 structured text and ladder language. Extensive function block library reduces the programming effort, so you can create your own custom function blocks to suit your needs.

CS Series Power Suppliers, Chassis

 

Expandable up to 7 racks

CS1 systems can work with 24V DC power supply or 100 - 240V AC line voltage.  A low-cost small-capacity power supply is available for small-scale systems mainly digital and I / O containing. A larger power supply may be necessary to use for systems including too many analog I / O and control / communication units. PLC chassis are variety size in 2 to 10 slots. Special chassis are necessary for dublex systems. Depending on the type of CPU, up to 7 expansion can be installed on CPU ’rack’, so that capacity of  total of 80 I / O units is available. For a system with a total length of extension cable can be up to 12 meters.



CS Series Digital I/O Units

Digital I / O units work as the interface of PLC to provide fast, reliable sequence control. A full range of high-speed DC inputs to relay outputs allows you to adapt CS1 to your needs. CS1 units are presented with various I / O densities and connection technologies. Up to 16 I/ O port can be connected to the detachable M3 screw terminals or screwless terminal plug-in units. High-density 32 and 64 point I / O units have standard 40-pin flat cable connectors. The fabricated cable and the terminals are available in order to facilitate connections for high-density I / O units.

 

CS Series Analog and Process I/O Units

CS1 offers suitable large options of analog input units for all applications from low-speed, multi-channel temperature measuremen to collect high-speed high-precision data .Analog outputs can be used for precise control, or an external display. High-level units with built-in scaling, filtering and alarm functions reduce the needs of complex PLC programming. High accuracy process I / O units support a wide range of sensors for fast and accurate data collection. All I/O units of process and temperature provide insulation in between each channel.

CS Series Position/Motion Control Units

 

Add motion control to any CS1 PLC


CS1 offers a full product range from simple position measurement to multi-axis synchronized motion control:
Fast counter units take the position information from SSI or incremental encoders. Actual positions are compared with internally stored target values.
Positioning control units are used for point to point positioning with servo drives or step motors. Target data and acceleration/retardation curves can be set during operation.


Positioning and motion control units equipped with MECHATROLINK-II interface can control multiple drives through a high-speed single connection. Message routing through a multi-layer communication provides to configure the attached drives from any point in the control network.

CS Series Communication Units

CS1-series provides either standard network interfaces and  low-cost high-speed private network connections.  Data links in between PLCs or high-level information sistems can be done with Serial or Ethernet connections or easy-to use Controller Link network.


It supports  Omron 2 major field networks, DeviceNet and PROFIBUS-DP. Omron's own Compobus / S provides incredible ease of installation for high-speed field I / O. To create a wide variety of application-specific protocols Serial and CAN-based communication which is completely user-configurable is available.
